Friday, June 26, 2026 -A Michigan court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Kim Scott after she failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing related to a driving under the influence (DUI) case.
According to court records, a judge on Wednesday authorised
a $10,000 bench warrant following Scott’s absence from proceedings connected to
her arrest on May 13. Scott had been due to attend a hearing concerning the DUI
charge but did not appear before the court. Following her non-attendance,
prosecutors requested that a bench warrant be issued and also sought the
forfeiture of her pre-trial release bond.
The case stems from Scott’s arrest in Michigan last month,
when authorities alleged that her blood alcohol level was nearly three times
the legal limit. Prosecutors have indicated that the incident represents
Scott’s third alleged DUI-related offence, resulting in a felony charge under
state law.
Scott is widely known for her long and highly publicised
relationship with rapper Eminem, with whom she shares a daughter. No public
response from Scott or her legal representatives had been reported at the time
of writing.
